Kids from 4 – 12 can become explorers for a day, find buried treasure, look at the stars through a high-powered telescope and get close up to a shark (without getting wet).

Or they can inspect the tiniest living creatures through a microscope, sculpt an imitation bone fossil and learn about sea animals on a really cool computer.

It’s all at the Discovery Channel Camp, and it’s only for kids.

Become an Explorer for a day in this one of a kind camp experience. Camp facilities include: Base Camp, the center of operations, featuring a replica of the Atocha, a Spanish galleon that sank off the Bahamian Seas in 1622. The Science Outpost has live animal touch tanks and high powered microscopes. The Technology Lab has sate of the art computer and internet access. Nature Crafts is where you are hands on, making shark tooth art and other fun crafts.
Outside, take a guided expedition around Atlantis, the world's largest marine habitat (second only to Mother Nature) Explore 11 exhibit lagoons, home to over 50, 000 sea animals, including sharks, piranha, stingrays and sawfish. Participate in fish feedings, and learn how Sea keepers  take care of the sea creatures in the fish hospital.

View the planets and stars in Star Lab inflatable planetarium. Take a walk through The Dig and you'll see what life may have been like for the Atlanteans over 11, 000 years ago. Get a close look at the piranhas, lobsters, green eels and moon jellies protecting the ancient artifacts. Or, kayak and swim with the fish in the protected Paradise Lagoon. The Adventures are Endless.

Discovery Channel Camp is available for a fee in the Morning, Afternoon, Evening or All Day programs.
