As dramatic as the setting sun, Kona Village Resort beckons with an enchanting beauty. Ancient people walked upon this land. Today, their legends remain as strong as the spirit of aloha.

There are no phones in your room at Kona Village Resort. Nor are there TVs or radios to distract you. Instead, music is provided by the tradewinds and the sea.


Complimentary programs for children ages 6 to 12

Starting at 9:30 a.m. each morning, children are offered a wide range of activities supervised by experienced program coordinators. Younger children are invited to participate when accompanied by a parent or adult guardian. Below is a sample of our activities (each one may not be held daily):

Keiki Dinner
A special dinner for children six and older starts daily at 5:30 p.m. It's followed by an array of activities including Hawaiian toy making, marshmallow roasts on the beach, stargazing and storytelling around the bonfire.
Children's programs are offered every month except May and September.
Babysitting services are available through the concierge

To keep the Hawaiian traditions alive is our commitment at Kona Village. What better place to start than with the children who come to our resort. They are as eager to learn as we are to share. Many of our activities touch on the ancient traditions of the people who once lived here and on the natural ecology of our coastline.
